[Solved] Change Prelude network interface

Added by Emad Alsai over 8 years ago

Hi, everyone.

I have a general question for you.
I installed all the different prelude's libs, dependencies and etc...
Also, Prewikka too.
Everything is working fine and running smoothly. Moreover, the Prelude is running on the localhost.
However, this localhost machine has two network interfaces.
In fact, I configured the network interface as named "eth0 and eth1" and eth1 is receiving all network traffics
So, now I'm trying to set up prelude-lml in order it to analyze a specific network interface which is eth1 that are connecting into a span switch.
I want to analyze all traffics that come through eth1 only.
I tried to set all the *.conf files of prelude in order prelude-lml to analyze these traffics
Can someone tell me please how to do it or which file I have to configure to change the network interface?

Thanks for all. Emad

Hello

Do you try to set the "udp-server" to your eth1 IP in prelude-lml.conf ?
